Merle G. Holland's Obituary
George “Merle” Holland, 90, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on October 18, 2016.
Visitation will be held October 27 from 1-3 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 South
Belcher Road, Clearwater, FL 33764. Merle was born in Elberton, GA on July 9, 1926. She
lived in St. Petersburg and worked for Palms of Pasadena Hospital until retirement when she
moved to Citrus Springs. In 2012 she moved to Clearwater. Merle is survived by daughters,
Rebecca (Stephen) Watson and Barbara (Sanford) Olitzky, son, Mann (Nancy) Holland, five
grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Merle is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Holland and parents, George and Lucille
White.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Suncoast Hospice Foundation at
5771 Roosevelt Blvd.Clearwater, FL 33760. The family of Merle Holland wishes to thank The
Oaks of Clearwater and Suncoast Hospice.
