Michael (Prodromos) George Bangos, 66, of Clearwater, FL passed away May 31, 2022. He was born in Thessaloniki, Greece on February 3rd 1956 to his parents Constantine and Despina (Gaitanos) Bangos. Michael is survived by his daughters, Annika Bangos and Avery Iacovone; his partner, Angela Iacovone; his sister, Paula Bangos Nall (Andy); brother John Bangos and his Thia Annoula Rukovski, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased in death by his parents; his son, Edward Michael Bangos and his sister Frances Bayes.
Michael is best remembered as (M.B.) on Clearwater Beach, where he helped his aunt and uncle (Paul and Anna Voulgaris) run the family's Mom and Pop motel (Ann's Edgewater Motel) for several years. That's where he was in his element. He loved the water and taking the Grady White out with his friends and family and having everyone congregate for backyard get togethers. He was known for being the man to offer you a helping hand, would give the shirt off his back, the last dollar in his wallet and a place to stay if you needed it.
He was a part of the Flowerama family for several years and prided himself on giving 110% of his efforts and time to working with "his girls" at the shop.
The family is requesting considerations of a donation to Annika's college fund in lieu of flowers/gifts.
