Four years ago today my heart was broken at the loss of my beloved mom, but at the same time it was lifted by the reality of knowing mom was, and is, safe in the arms of Jesus her Savior. Grandma Frazier was an amazing woman. She was loving, kind, and strong. I'm extremely lucky to have known her. I remember her always welcoming us into her home with love. From making dinner to sitting and talking she was beautiful in all she did!
Millie was honestly the most gentle soul I have ever known. I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. She was strong and patient and self-sacrificing. One story that remains with me is the time she came upon a girl who was trying to hang herself. In a time before cell phones, Millie held the girl up and kept her alive until help could come.
My mother was the sweetest person. She loved Jesus and has gone to meet Him. She was hardworking and loyal to her family. She had a feistiness that not everyone knew about because of her choice to be a peaceful person. I am honored to be called her son. Have fun in heaven Mom!
