Millie E. Ward, 88, of Trenton, FL formerly of Largo passed away Nov. 26, 2020. She was born in Billett, IL grew up in Indianapolis, IN and moved to Clearwater in 1947 and saw it as a slice of paradise. She was co-owner of Ward’s Read Obituary
Grams, you will always have a special place in my heart. Steve and I took as many trips together as we could. You always said "do it while you are young and healthy". We enjoyed our time with you at the casino, also. Such a fun day! Thank you for all your great advice over the years, but most of all, thank you for all the love and memories you have given me. Millie was my half sister, we shared the same dad, whom she loved dearly. We after looking for each other for years found each other in our later years. She was a blessing to me ,she told me all about our dad's side of the family which I had little knowledge. She accepted me as part of her family and I know we will continue to know each other in heaven.. You will be dearly missed . Love and prayers to Terry and family

The 1st ladies Bible study I went to through Faith Christian Church, was at Mille's home on Poinsettia in Largo. She hadn't been living there long, it was really nice and she and her daughter Terry welcomed about 8 of us ladies, graciously. She was so humbled that her family helped her get the place & fix it up. I kept attending the Bible studies, based on that great experience in Mille's home.
I have known Millie my Whole life, that's because she is my Aunt, I can remember her working in the seafood store late at night with uncle Johnny, there is a lot I could say about Aunt Millie, but the most important is she was outgoing, friendly to everyone, had the Biggest heart when I came to Florida she make sure I got to Johns Pass, her Terry and I spend the day there had the best time. she called me when she was in the hospital was so glad I got to hear her voice one last time, But the one thing was she always tell me Thank God for Terry, Aunt Millie loved her family her whole family, I will sure miss talking to her, God Bless Her
I was saddened to learn of Millie's passing. Phyllis Van Diver is my stepmother and they were great friends. We were just talking about Millie on Friday and Phyllis planned to call her. The following day my sister Jacky called to say that a family member reached out to let us know of Millie's death. I am so glad that Phyllis had Millie to keep her company after my dad's death in 2005. She will be greatly missed by all. She was a sweet lady.
