Minnie F. Amerman's Obituary
Minnie F. Amerman, a beloved resident of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Morton Plant Hospital. She was 85 years old.
Born on March 9, 1939, in Franklinton, North Carolina, Minnie grew up in the close-knit community of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. She will be inurned alongside her mother, Susan, and her brother, “CB” Fleming, in the church cemetery.
Minnie dedicated 30 years of her life to Sears & Roebuck Company, where she worked as a credit analyst. Her commitment to her job was unwavering, and she made lasting friendships with her colleagues.
Minnie and her husband, James, were active members of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Zephyrhills, Florida. Minnie served as the President of the Ladies Auxiliary, demonstrating her passion for supporting veterans and their families.
In addition to her parents, John and Susan (Blackley) Fleming, Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, James, her sister, Alma “Rita” Sanger, and her brother. She leaves behind a legacy of love and family. Minnie is survived by her four children: Edwin (Wendy) Amerman, James (Margaret) Amerman, John (Debbie) Amerman, and Susan Amerman. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
