Muriel Catherine Wiggins' Obituary
Born in Tarpon Springs, FL, Muriel was the cherished daughter of Ashley Bryant Douglas and Catherine Arcena Robinson. She spent her professional career as a dedicated Microfilm Technician and Clerk Specialist, serving with distinction in the Pinellas County School System until her retirement. Her commitment and attention to detail left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the many lives she touched during her years of service.
Muriel was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Ozona/Palm Harbor, where her faith shone as a beacon of light and strength. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Carl Wiggins Sr., and leaves behind a legacy of love in her three children: sons, Bill and Allen, and daughter, Vonda.
Her family was her greatest joy, and she relished every moment spent with her four grandchildren, Dylan, Austin, Tyler, and Kayli, and her two great-grandchildren, Isaac and Alison. Muriel's love extended beyond her own family, as she also shared close bonds with her four brothers, Buddy, Ernest, Albert, and Donald, and her seven sisters, Mary, Helen, Mollie, Margaret, Lois, Merriel (her twin), and Doris.
A passionate traveler and antique collector, Muriel enjoyed exploring new places and treasures, but her happiest times were those spent with her friends and family. Her infectious laughter and generous spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Muriel's legacy of love, friendship, and faith will remain in our hearts forever, as we cherish the many beautiful moments we shared with her.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on October 30, 2025, at Moss Feaster Funeral Home 1320 Main St. in Dunedin with interment to follow at Curlew Pioneer Cemetery in Palm Harbor, FL. The family will receive visitors the evening prior at Moss Feaster Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
