Nan Ruth Tower's Obituary
Nan Ruth Tower, 88, of Clearwater, Florida passed away October 5, three weeks before her 89th birthday. She was born October 26, 1929 in Buffalo, New York to Carl and Luella Spinner.
Nan was a diploma nurse and worked in pediatrics and surgery. Her passion was caring for others. She poured her heart into raising her family and volunteering in the community. Through the years she assisted with the Largo Band of Gold fund raisers, helped manage a Hospice thrift store, led a women’s group at her church, was an active member of the American Cancer Society and women’s auxiliary for the Florida Pharmaceutical Association and participated in charitable events with the Abilities Foundation.
Nan is survived by her husband of 65 years, Alton Tower; brother, Hugh Spinner; daughters, Adrienne Turner, Michele Rusczyk (son-in-law, Robert Rysczyk) and Renee Centanni(son-in-law, Christopher Centanni); grandsons Charles Turner, William Turner (Lisa Turner), Austin Bohan and Christian Centanni; granddaughters Amanda Bohan-Vahab (Daniel Vahab) and Ariana Centanni; three great grandchildren, Anna Turner, Emma Turner and Dash Turner. Nan was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Luella Spinner.

Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, October 11th at 11am with a celebration of life service at 1pm. Burial to follow at 2:30pm at Serenity Gardens.
