Nancy J. Hassel's Obituary
Nancy J. Hassel,101 of Clearwater died Wednesday (Nov. 2, 2022) at Morton Plant Rehab Center, Clearwater. She moved here in 1959 from her native Sharon, PA. She retired as a Registered Nurse from Moron Plant Hospital Emergency Room. She was an adventurous traveler and made two separate week-long trips rafting the Colorado River. The last one when she was 75. She was an avid sports fan of her favorite Tampa Bay teams and could reel off player information and stats of the Rays, Lightning and Buccaneers as if she were reading a game program. She enjoyed reading and did crossword puzzles every day. She was predeceased in 2006 by her husband of sixty years, Neale. Survivors include; a daughter, Lesley Cox, husband Dan; a son, Richard, wife Lynn; a sister Judy Paul; and a granddaughter, Erin Bing; and two great-grandchildren, Ryker and Rogue.
