Nancy Elizabeth Landers' Obituary
Nancy E. Landers of Largo, FL passed peacefully on March 15, 2025, surrounded by love. She was born in Utica, NY on February 16, 1949. A devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Nancy brought warmth, kindness and a joyful spirit.
Nancy had a deep appreciation for the ocean, finding her happiest moments along the shores of Ocean City, NJ and Florida’s Gulf Coast. Whether walking along the water, sitting with her toes in the sand or simply enjoying the peaceful rhythm of the waves, the beach was her place of serenity and joy.
An avid card player, Nancy loved playing bridge, poker and pinnacle. In recent years, she became a dominating force at bingo, approaching each game with enthusiasm and laughter. She also loved to dance - never a stranger to the cha-cha or electric slide.
She is survived by her sons, Scott (Stephanie), Ryan (Beth) and Shaun (Lisa); her grandchildren, Tiffani, Kaitlyn, Meghan, Brayden and Keira; her great-granddaughters; her brothers, William (Eileen) and James (Candi); and several nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth; her granddaughter Lauren; and her nephew Todd.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association, National Psoriasis Foundation or American Heart Association in her memory.
