Norbert A Steenmans' Obituary
Steenmans, Norbert (Norm) A. 87 passed away Tuesday June 19th. Norm was born in Buffalo New York in 1931. He was drafted into the Air Force, serving 8 years, then joined Honeywell as an engineer in the aeronautic space division. He also served in the Navy as a reservist for over 14 years. Norm’s passion was playing beach volleyball which he played into his 70’s. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Norm was proceeded in death by his parents Norbert and Beatrice Steenmans and loving wife Mary (Cass) Steenmans of 28 years. He is survived and loved by his children Roxanne Steenmans, Babette Steenmans Bailey, Norbert (Bert) Steenmans, son-in-law David Bailey and grandchildren Kristin and Shaun Bailey. He is also survived and loved by his partner Candy Parlee of over 20 years and her son Derek (Rosie) Parlee. A gathering of friends will be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home on June 27th at 1100 am with a service at 12pm. Graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster Ohio.
