Palmiro Pacheco's Obituary
Palmiro Pacheco, also known as Chico was a husband, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, cousin, uncle, father and a great friend to many. Chico moved to New York from Puerto Rico at the age of 13 years old and recently moved down to Florida in 2014 after retiring. He worked hard his entire life to provide for his family beginning the day at 4:00am with no complaints and always giving his all. Though he had many friends, family and memories in New York, we realized the Florida was growing on him. Chico’s life was fulfilled here in Florida, he had quickly made many great friends in his community and became a member on the complex board. Even as a retired man he took joy in starting the day bright and early and helping around the community. Whether it was repairing sprinklers, cleaning roofs, keeping the community pool area clean and enforcing the rules, he was a man who loved to use his hands. He was most known for keeping a healthy garden as well as helping others maintain theirs. Though his time here was cut short, we know that he was happy, happy that he was no longer a slave to the alarm clock, finally making time for himself and watching his family grow. Chico leaves behind a wife of thirty nine years, five children, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Our family will not be the same without our king , our super hero and our best friend but he will live on in our hearts forever. We will cherish the memories and wisdom bestowed upon us forever. Rest In Peace, our love.
