Patricia Ann Clark's Obituary
Patricia J. Clark, 69, of Clearwater, Florida, an amazing, strong, and unforgettable woman, sadly passed away too soon on Thursday, November 2, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Jonah and Tennie Johnson in Clearwater on July 26, 1948. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in education in the spring of 1970. In December of that same year she married Terry Clark, and they went on to build a remarkable life together. She enjoyed a lifelong career as a teacher, a calling that she truly loved. She touched many children’s lives by sharing her love of learning and expanding their minds in school and church classes. She retired after 38 years of teaching reading at Largo Middle School. She spent her retirement days at her favorite pastimes: gardening, writing, shopping for bargains, traveling with her family, and most importantly spending precious time with her loving husband and the center of their universe, their special son, Zachary. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gwen. She is survived by husband Terry, son Zack, special nephew “just like a son” Joshua, sisters: Glenell, Peggy, Sharon (John), Sandy (Dee), brother: Wayne (Elaine), sister-in-law: Jeanette, and many nephews and nieces. She will be eternally remembered with much love and admiration. Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Clearwater. Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2 pm at Harbor Life Church in Safety Harbor.
