Patricia A Doran's Obituary
Patricia A. Doran, born on February 6, 1932 in Nutley, New Jersey. Previously married to, and predeceased by George T. Doran. She passed away at age 89 on September 24, 2021 in Clearwater, FL. She was the only child of Lidwina Ilg and Herbert Dolan. She was truly the matriarch of her family of ten children. She was an independent, intelligent and powerful individual who held her cards close, but loved much. She is survived by children and spouses; George and Kathy Doran, Michael and Eileen Doran, Carol Kairis, Peter and Anne Doran, Timothy and Susan Doran, Patricia and Jed Stills, Elizabeth Doran, Samantha and Scott Bovat, and Jeremy Doran. She was predeceased by daughter Kathleen Doran on November 27, 2016. There are 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Patricia (Pat) was a lifelong learner and always made room for her own passions. She was a dancer, a voracious reader, a football and baseball fan, a Jeopardy champion and an exceptional knitter. She was quick to break into a song and dance for any occasion. She chose her favorite football teams by the best looking quarterbacks. She had a wicked sense of humor and was a great storyteller. Once all ten children were of school age, Pat got her Real Estate License in Massachusetts where she practiced for many years. When she moved to Florida, she also earned her Real Estate License and stayed abreast of the industry that she loved so much. She volunteered at the library in her living community, as well as knitted hats for babies and Vets. Patricia A. Doran was engaging and well respected by everyone who came in contact with her. She was the glue of the family. We will miss her terribly, but we are counting our blessings, as she lived life to the fullest.
