Patricia Jean Dyson's Obituary
Patricia Jean Dyson, 83, passed away October 11th, 2022. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on October 29th, 1938, to the late Frederick Charles DeFrain & Frances Helen Herman.
Patricia is survived by her husband Michael, sons Mark, Mike, and Steve, sisters Judy, Penney, and Pam, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Patricia was worked as a certified travel consultant in the tourism industry and loved to travel. Hawaii and Israel were two of Patricia & Michael's favorite places in the world. Over the years, since 1979, Patricia made over 100 pilgrimages to the Holy Land, taking thousands of people with her. She was the recipient of the ATHENA Organizational Leadership Award, an award that "honors women who strive to serve as a mentor or role model for helping women reach their full leadership potential". Patricia also enjoyed relaxing at the pool and golfing. She was an active member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir, and volunteered in the office on Thursdays.
Services are to be held at St. Catherine's Catholic Church on November 29th, 2022 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to The Society of St. Vincent De Paul.
