Love you Uncle Paul, may you rest in peace. ❤️
It is with a heavy heart that we write this message to honor the memory of Paul Andrews, who for 24 years welcomed us to Clearwater Beach with warmth, care and a spirit of true hospitality. He was not only a hotel manager, but a friend whose consistency and kindness became part of our lives.
Each visit carried with it his steady presence, greeting us with a smile, ensuring comfort, and making us feel at home. Over time, these gestures became more than professional courtesy, they became threads of friendship woven into our lives. His dedication reflected a rare gift: the ability to turn a place of lodging into a place of belonging.
We will remember him not only for his service, but for the way he lived-with integrity, generosity and a heart that blessed others. Truly, Paul embodied that spirit, and through his work, he touched lives far beyond what he may have realized.
His legacy of kindness will continue to inspire us, and his memory will remain a cherished part of our lives.
Rest in peace Paul.
With our deepest sympathies and gratitude,

Paul was both a gentleman and gentle man. I was fortunate to work with him professionally and personally over the past 25 years and he was always available to help when asked. He was the biggest proponent and supporter of Clearwater Beach before and after redevelopment. Paul will be greatly missed and I was so fortunate to have known him during our time in Clearwater. RIP Paul. 🙏
Paul was a very dear friend and close confidant. I met Paul when he first started working at Shephard's selling him an ad in a magazine that I published. Our friendship grew over the years and when I became the director of the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce he supported every facet of my position and goals for the Chamber. His love of Clearwater Beach and the support he offered to so many people who worked in the hospitality industry was unconditional and amazing. The Chamber was just one of many businesses that he supported, volunteered, and gave so much advise to. Paul was incredibly knowledgeable in finance and budgets. Without his involvement, so many projects, special events, tournaments, committees and boards of directors would have never been as successful as they were. But most of all, he was kind, gentle, smart, fun, and one of the best friends I could have ever had. I will miss him, as I know many others will. Paul touched so many lives in his lifetime. He was extremely close with his family and my heart breaks for their loss as well.
I met Paul once while visiting Clearwater and staying at Shepherd’s Beach Hotel, where he was the manager. I was there with his nephew, Byron, and even in that short time, it was clear how special Paul was. He was an incredible host—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive in a way you don’t forget.
That visit left a lasting impression on me, and I’m grateful I had the chance to meet him. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family. May his memory continue to shine through the many lives he touched.
Dear uncle paul. You meant so much to me. You always brought the light in the room and never failed to make people laugh or smile. I will forever be grateful you were in my life. You left such a special place in my life. You always make people feel happy even when they’re in a sad mood. So many people appreciated you and loved you so much. My last time seeing you was when I had a volleyball tournament in Tampa and it was the last day staying in clearwater beach and Me and my family were about to leave to go back home and you gave me the biggest hug ever and said you loved me so much and said “ keep doing what your doing in volleyball and cant wait to watch you play in the future and i love you so much” I love you so much uncle paul and thank you for everything you did for our family. 🤍
