Paul Douglas Maphet's Obituary
Paul Douglas Maphet, 89, peacefully passed away early Saturday morning, June 20, 2026 in Clearwater, FL. Paul was born in and spent much of his life in New Jersey, but loved living in Florida for over 35 years. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed cruising, Jeopardy, black and white movies, and spending time with his family. He loved going for a drive on the weekends, often going to John’s Pass, IKEA or Parksdale. He had a great sense of humor and told the best stories. He is preceded in death by his wife of more than 45 years and mother of his five children, Agnes, his daughter-in-law Terri, grandson Jason, daughter-in-law Lisa, and son Paul Jr.. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Deborah, and his children Ann (Steve) DeAnni, Karen, Stephen (Chastitie Mitchell), and Dennis (Beckie); his grandchildren, Robyn (Billy), Raymond Zalenty Jr and Dayna (Tyler) Granata, Hannah Schillari, Aedan and Hudson, and Katie; and his great-grandchildren, Raymond Zalenty III, and Wyatt and Garrett Feagley. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all that knew him.
