Paul "Pete" Stevens' Obituary
Paul E. Stevens, of Dunedin, Florida
Paul "Pete" Stevens joined our Lord on May 19, 2021, at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife and life partner of 56 years, Betty “Sue” Stevens, his sons Paul Jr.(Theresa), and Joseph (Monica), and Two sisters, Evelyn (Brown) and Joanne (Brown). “Pete” was the very proud grandpa to his 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emily, and Bryan.
Pete was born on September 1, 1937, in Seneca Falls, New York and eventually made his way to Hastings-on Hudson, N.Y. where he worked at the Dobbs Ferry, NY Post Office as a letter carrier for 26 years. He retired in 1999 and he and Sue moved back to Seneca Falls. After several years as “snow birds”, he and Sue made a permanent move in 2010 to Lake Highlander in Dunedin, Florida. Pete loved Lake Highlander and all his friends in the Park. He enjoyed, fishing, hunting, golf, card games, and any time spent with family.
Pete was preceded in death in death by 2 brothers, Harlow and Raymond and six sisters, Dorothy, Norma, Betty, Virginia, Helen and Madeline.
Those of us who knew Pete, will remember him with warmth, laughter and Love.
A celebration of Pete's life will be held in the Seneca Falls area on
June 26th.
