Pauline E. Kibbey's Obituary
Pauline "Polly" Estelle Alvesteffer Kibbey passed away on March 22nd, 2011 at the Suncoast Hospice House Brookside after a prolonged illness. Pauline was born on June 20th, 1927 in Ludington Michigan to Henry and Margaret Alvesteffer. She was the youngest of six children. She attended St. Simon's Elementary and High School, where she graduated in 1944. She married her loving husband, Donald, in 1953 and moved to Dunedin, Florida, where she raised two sons and two grandchildren. She was a founding member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, which was established in 1958. She is predeceased by her husband Donald Kibbey, her parents; Henry and Margaret Alvesteffer, brother George Alvesteffer, sisters; Sister Mary Alvesteffer, Rita Johnston, Kathleen Alvesteffer and her nephew Louis Johnston. She is survived by her sons Stephen and Michael Kibbey, daughter-in-law Mary Kibbey, grand children Bradley and Brian Kibbey and her sister, Francis Adams, nieces Susan Ritchie, Mary Riisberg, Anne Adams, Sara Glass and "grand pets" Beatrice and Coconut. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Dunedin on Saturday March 31st, 11:30 a.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Dunedin. Pauline will be greatly missed by her family and many friends who adored and loved her. The family requests, in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Suncoast Hospice House Brookside.
