Pauline Miklos' Obituary
Pauline Mary Miklos, née, Powell, 90, of Oldsmar, FL, passed away peacefully at the Brookside Hospice House surrounded by her family on Friday, October 27, 2017.
Pauline was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Edward Joseph Miklos. Pauline is survived by their four daughters, Cheryle (Tom) Mackie, Annette (Cy) Crane, Paulette (late Augie) Novakovich, and Maria; seven grandchildren: Amy Mackie Barr, Thomas Mackie, Timothy Mackie, Christopher Crane, Matthew Crane, Gina Novakovich, and Nicholas Novakovich;, nine great-grandchildren: Michael Mackie-Kwist, Cassidy Mackie, Liam Mackie, Connor Mackie, Owen Barr, Edward Crane, Elisabeth Crane, Juliette Crane, and Thomas Crane; her sister, Cookie Bendinelli Fischl; brothers, Anthony Powell and James Bendinelli; and sister-in-laws Marge Gesik and Fran Miklos. She was preceded in death her by brother, Walter Bendinelli.
Pauline was born on the far south side of Chicago, Illinois and she spent her growing-up years in the family’s ice cream and confection business. While raising her children she was a stay-at-home Mom. Later she took a part-time job with Gapers Catering Service. After the death of her husband, she moved to Florida for a warmer climate, first settling in Vero Beach, then moving to the Clearwater area. She lived with her daughters, Paulette and Maria, and grandson Nick. She was cared for and loved by her daughters, family and friends until her passing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 am on Friday, November 3rd at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 730 San Salvador Drive, Dunedin, FL 34698. The family will receive friends from 7 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, November 2nd at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin, FL. Pauline will be laid to rest with Edward at Bay Pines National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Special Olympics of Florida- Pinellas, 2235 N.E. Coachman Road, Clearwater, FL 33765 or to Suncoast Hospice.
