Pearl Bole Vest's Obituary
VEST, Pearl (Reed) Bole, passed away December 12, 2014. Pearl was born in Derby, NY on March 7, 1926. She was a graduate of Angola High School in 1943, serving as President of her class in 1939. She was employed by Spencer Kellogg & Sons from 1943-1946; Secretary of the First Church of Evans 1946-1970; and Secretary to the President of Evans National Bank in Angola, NY 1967-1976.
She moved to Clearwater, FL in 1976 as the bride of Albert C. Bole. Following his death in 1989, she married Robert A. Vest in 1992. She served Trinity Presbyterian Church in several capacities including Clerk of Session for 5 years.
She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Vest; foster sisters Carol Gates Maxwell (Kent), Diane Gates Bedell (John) and foster brother Earle W. Gates, Jr.; stepdaughters Nancy Vest Weinberger and Kathryn Vest Aldrich as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by brother George F. Reed, and sisters Alice Reed Erzkus and Margaret Reed Olmsted; stepchildren Albert Cleaver Bole, James Renwick Bole, and Barbara Bole.
A Memorial service will be held at The Hampton Chapel for residents. Also, a Memorial service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Clearwater, FL to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Trinity Presbyterian Church, Suncoast Hospice, or The Hampton Chapel.
