Peggy Jean Davis' Obituary
Peggy Jean Davis, age 80, passed into the merciful arms of her Lord and Savior while surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 26, 2016. Peggy was born December 26, 1935 in Greencastle, Indiana to Claude A. and Catherine V. Webb. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in nursing through Indiana University, graduating in 1957. This same year she met, and married, the love of her life, Dr. Edward A. Davis. The two began their life journey together, on August 11, 1957. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and sitting on her balcony overlooking many sunsets over the gulf of Mexico. She was highly gifted in fine needlework, creating unique and beautiful pieces of art that brought joy to so many and serve as reminders of her personal beauty that will remain with us forever. Peggy is survived by her husband, Edward, her son: Bradley E. Davis (Tammi R.), her daughter: Kristin K. Davis-Keller (Scott E.), four grandchildren: Rachel (Jacob), Bradley, Jenna, and Ericka, two great-grandchildren: Cecelia and Charlotte, her sister: Susanne Gleason, and her brothers: Jim Webb, David Webb and Tom Webb.
