Peter Allard's Obituary
Peter W. Allard, 61, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on February 13, 2026. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Peter proudly relocated his family to Florida more than 30 years ago, making Clearwater his home. Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Sheila O’Keefe Allard; his daughters, Kaitlyn Allard Sclafani and Briana Allard; and his son-in-law, Joseph Sclafani. He also leaves behind his father, Paul Allard and his partner Margaret Marshall; his brother, Paul Allard and wife Laura; his brother, Brian Allard and wife Barbara; and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Pierette Allard, and his in-laws, Peter and Cathy O’Keefe. Peter graduated from Worcester Boys’ Trade School in 1982 with a degree in drafting and later completed a postgraduate plumbing program. He went on to earn his Master Plumbing licenses in both Massachusetts and Florida, a testament to his work ethic, skill, and dedication to his craft. After working in the plumbing industry for many years, Peter founded Rooter-Man of Tampa Bay in 2006. Through integrity, grit, and an unwavering commitment to doing the right thing, he built not only a successful business but a respected name in the Tampa Bay community. Plumbing was not just his profession; it was his calling. He took pride in solving problems, leading his team, and providing for his family. Above all, Peter was a devoted husband, a proud father, a loving son, a loyal brother, a fun uncle, and a steadfast friend. He was tough, smart, stubborn in the best way, and known for his sharp wit and sense of humor. He was a fighter, someone who never backed down from a challenge and never stopped working hard for the people he loved. He loved deeply, protected fiercely, and showed up when it mattered. Outside of work, Peter enjoyed bowling, golfing, and camping. He loved to travel, especially to Walt Disney World, the Great Smoky Mountains, and back home to New England. He worked hard so his family could experience life together, and those memories will forever be treasured. Peter’s legacy lives on through the family he adored, the business he built, and the countless lives he impacted with his strength, generosity, and determination. A funeral service will take place at Moss Feaster located at 693 South Belcher Road, Clearwater, FL 33764, on March 21, 2026, at 10:00 am. A celebration of life will follow immediately after services at Rooter Man located at 11595 66th St, Largo, FL 33773. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers.
