Peter A. Bartolomeo's Obituary
Peter Anthony Bartolomeo, 67, of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away on
February 22, 2022 with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of
46 years Yvonne DeLouker Bartolomeo, his daughters Yvonne A. Bartolomeo and Lauren Helton along with his son in law Thomas Helton, his three
Grandchildren Victoria, Grayson and Beckham Helton as well as his sisters, Catherine Rossi and Susan Bartolomeo.
Peter grew up and attended school in New York and had a very successful
career in Manhattan for 25 years. He was Vice President of construction
and worked on many prominent projects over the years. In 2002 he purchased
Lakeside Plumbing, Inc. and moved his family to Florida. He considered Florida to be his Paradise as it encompassed his passion for the beach, boating, fishing and beautiful sunsets.
Genuine, honest, hard working and loyal are just a few of Peter's traits. He was
always there to help, guide or offer advice to someone. He had lifelong friendships and had many business associates that became his friend over the years.
Most importantly, Peter was devoted to his family who were everything to him.
His Grandchildren were the light of his life and would put a sparkle in his eyes or light up his face with every moment they spent with them or with every video chat. Being their "Poppy" was his most prestigious job title and became his new
favorite passion.
We are all heartbroken with the sudden passing of Peter but we hold all of our
cherished memories of him close to our hearts. He will be loved and forever missed but every time we are near the water, at the beach or see a beautiful sunset we will always think of our loving husband, father and Poppy.
Peter loved the Irish Blessing as he often reflected on the words and his wish
for all of us to live each day to our very best and carry on until we meet again.
Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
May God be with you and bless you.
May you see your children's children.
May you be poor in misfortune
and rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.
May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home.
And may the hand of a friend always be near.
May green be the grass you walk on.
May blue be the skies above you.
May pure be the joys that surround you.
May true be the hearts that love you.
For everything there is a season;
A time for meeting,
A time to say goodbye.
In all things God is near, always guiding your way.
