Phillips M Evans' Obituary
Phillips M. Evans,92, passed away peacefully January 28, 2018. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years,Marilyn and son Jano. Survived by daughters Lisa and Georgette, daughter in law Jan, grandchildren Anjalea, Shoshanna and David, 5 great grandchildren, Nancy Hoppe (companion of last 20 years) and friends Roger and Lee.
Phillips loved life with passion and was a man of many talents and endeavors. Born in NYC, he moved his family to Clearwater Florida in 1956. Some of his exploits include being an air force veteran, establishing a chain of beauty salons (Phillips Coiffures and Permtowns), becoming an attorney (mediator, arbitrator and land developer). He loved music, traveling, sports, bird watching and was an extraordinary wordsmith, etc., etc., etc.
Everyone who met him loved him for his great smile and charm. He lived and loved life to its' fullest and will be missed by many. Memorial service will begin 11 AM Saturday, February 17th at Sylvan Abbey Cemetery followed by a gathering of friends and loved ones at a local facility.
