Oh Pop Pop, you sure will be missed. I will miss our talks about my dream of one day having a sanctuary farm to save all kinds of animals and you telling me that I need to use them for food and me telling you, hell to the no, I will not be doing that. Ha. I'll also miss all the dinners you would cook us, but first you would have to explain every single part of the meal as we filled our plates. You loved cooking and gardening and yard work and just keeping yourself and your mind busy all the time. Your determination and drive was inspiring. You definitely were not a lazy man, by any means. As us grandchildren got older, you became so easy to talk to and learn from. You also loved to be silly and torture poor Nana about something, every single day. She would just roll her eyes and say "oh pop pop, shut it". I still can't believe you two were married for 68 years, after only knowing one another for such a short time. For more than half your lives, you and Nana were side by side. Raising four beautiful children and being so heavily involved with us grandchildren. What a beautiful life you had. My only wish was that you and Nana lived closer so we could have spent way more time with the both of you. Florida was way too far away. We will take good care of Nana, promise. We all know, that's 100% the one thing you would ask all of us to do.
