Ray “Duke” Snider, age 86, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026.
Born on May 16, 1939, Duke lived a full and meaningful life defined by service, dedication, and a deep love for family and friends. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as an Airborne Ranger, carrying the values of strength, courage, and discipline with him throughout his life.
Duke was a respected and award-winning Allstate Insurance Agency owner for over 40 years. Through his hard work, integrity, and genuine care for others, he built not just a successful business, but lasting relationships within his community.
Outside of his career, Duke embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. He was an avid boater who found peace and happiness on the water, and he cherished every opportunity to travel and explore. More than anything, he loved spending time with his wife, his son and his grandsons, his family, and his many friends. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or quiet moments, Duke made those around him feel valued and loved.
He will also be fondly remembered for the special bond he shared with his beloved puppies, Archie and Alfie, who brought him great comfort and companionship.
Duke was a generous, fun-loving, and charismatic man whose wisdom and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His genuine spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Snider (Knechtel); his son, Scott Snider (Joann Snider); his grandsons, Joey (Hannah) and Zack (Juls); his beloved niece, Joelle Kemerer-Archer(Broc & Josiah); and his beloved bonus son Brad Lewis.
Services will be private.
Duke’s favorite saying,

reflects the gratitude and gracious spirit he carried throughout his life—a simple phrase that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
