Ray was one of the first team members at Standard Coffee that I met, he has a wonderful spirit. He was always so kind and positive, a sincere pleasure to be around and work with, just to know.

I met Ray when I was 17 and from that day whenever we were together the world got a little brighter and we never stopped laughing. One day when riding in his corvette convertible , I don't think we were even 20, he had two small towels in the car and said lets tie them around our heads like scarfs. He rode by a couple of construction sites to see if the guys would whistle at us. Much to my amazement they all started to whistle and we laughed about that for over 50 years.
