Reba G. Gottscho's Obituary
Reba Gordon Gottscho passed away peacefully at Suncoast Hospice Care Center Mid Pinellas in Pinellas Park, Florida on August 29, 2021, at the age of 102. Reba is survived by sons Steven and Richard, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years Alfred and her daughter Terri.
Reba was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 8, 1918, to Rose and Benjamin Gordon. Reba was a long-time resident of Lancaster, Pennsylvania where she raised her family. She and Alfred moved to the Cypress Palms community in Largo, Florida in 2015. Reba was an avid reader, needleworker, loved to travel and especially cruises and a longtime member of Congregation Shaari Shomayim, Lancaster, PA.
A private family service will be held at the Gottscho family plot, Maimonides Cemetery, Elmont, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Ruth Gottscho Kidney Foundation, Teaneck, NJ
