Remedios Obordo's Obituary
Remedios “Remie” Obordo of Largo, 82, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2014. Born in Quezon, Philippines, she moved to New Jersey, and then to Florida in 1982. She worked as a registered nurse at Largo Medical Center until retirement. Remie was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Clearwater. She was a part of the Divine Mercy and Immaculate Conception prayer group and enjoyed ballroom dancing and sewing. She is predeceased by her husband of 42 years Clarencio, her sister, Lourdes Oliveros and her son-in-law, James Ascioti. She was the loving mother of Fe Fatolitis, Roselle Ascioti, Joey Obordo, Manny Obordo and Claire Obordo; mother-in-law of Nick (Fatolitis) and Julie (Obordo); adoring grandmother to Nick IV, Andrew, Megan and Nena (Fatolitis), and Justin, Jeremy, and Jessica (Obordo); sister of Dr. Caridad Pe and sister-in-law of Manny Pe. Visitation is Sunday, October 26th, from 5 to 8pm at Moss Feaster Belcher Rd, with Wake and Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass is Monday, October 27th at 10am at St. Catherine of Siena.
