Richard D. Hartgrove's Obituary
Rick Hartgrove, 57, of Clearwater, FL passed away on June 11th at Northside Hospital in St Petersburg, FL. He was born on January 4th, 1964 in Reed City, MI. Rick graduated from Big Rapids High School in 1982 where he played football, ran track and participated in the marching band. After high school, Rick used his wide variety of skills and talents to pursue careers in sales, real estate, home construction and property management. Rick was a very loving son, big brother, father and friend. If you were special to Rick, he made sure you knew it. Rick often cared about other people's well being more than his own. He regularly gave money and food to people he encountered that were less fortunate than him. Outside of work, Rick loved sports, rock and roll, hunting and fishing, making people laugh, meeting strangers, playing golf and spending time with his friends and family. Rick is survived by his Mother Nina (Church) Worth, Brother Aaron Worth, Daughter Landri Peden and Grandson Gabriel Peden. He was preceded in death by his Father Ed Worth, Uncle Marv Church, Aunt Jane Church and Grandparents Ashley and Estelle (Terril) Church. There will be a memorial service in Big Rapids, MI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you consider giving money to the homeless in Rick's memory.
