Richard Lewis Oshaben's Obituary
Richard Lewis Oshaben,94 of Clearwater passed away Sunday September 17, 2023.
Born November 6,1928 in Dunlo, Pennsylvania, he was a resident of Clearwater for the last 10 years. He lived in Cleveland, Ohio for most of his adult years, spending winter in Florida after he retired.
Richard was a longtime Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. He loved the game of golf and achieved 3 hole- in -ones. He was a volunteer fireman/paramedic for the city of Seven Hills. He also enjoyed years of bowling, hunting,horseshoes,cards and dancing to Polka music. After retiring from General Motors, he enjoyed 37 years of retirement.
Richard was the loving husband to Rose M. (nee Dezelon), loving father of Karen Sudbury (Scot) of Clearwater, Kenneth R. of Dunedin; Cherished grandfather of Sean Sudbury (Holly) of Aurora, Colorado, Laura Sudbury of Palm Harbor; Great grandfather to Sienna Sudbury; loving brother to Nancy Vasilko and Frank Oshaben. Richard is preceded in Death by his sisters Mildred White, Leona Liskai; brothers John and Jacob; parents Angela and Daniel.
Arrangements are entrusted to Moss Feaster Funeral Home in Dunedin, Florida
A Funeral Mass will be held in his honor on Friday, October 6, 2023, at St. Michael the Archangel.
