Richard F. Sprenger's Obituary
Richard Frederick Sprenger, 77, of Palm Harbor, FL passed away March 8, 2023 at Mease Countryside Hospital. He was born April 11, 1945 in Lake City, MN to Frederick and Helen (Braun) Sprenger, who have preceded him in death along with his oldest brother Lewellyn (wife Karen) . Richard was a proud US Navy veteran, who enjoyed going to the county and state fairs, people watching, cracking jokes, parades, and singing. He enjoyed old western movies He enjoyed going on long drives in the fall through out Minnesota to see the fall foliage. Richard also enjoyed being know as a “Pappy” that title suited him best. He had a love for “Jersey” cheesesteaks He is survived by sons Jim (Stephanie),Troy, Shawn (Stacy) and Mike Underland (Dawn); daughters Mariah Sprenger and Miranda Volov (Thomas). He leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
