Robert J. Angle's Obituary
Beloved Robert James Angle passed unexpectedly at home in Largo, Fl on August 22th, 2023. “Bob” was a cherished brother, uncle, son and friend.
Bob was born in Michigan on September 19, 1957. He graduated from Tawas Area High School in 1975 and joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 18. He later completed a Associates Degree in Engineering. Bob retired last year after having worked hard his entire life.
He is predeceased by his father, Donald Angle, sister, Linda Angle and brother-in-law, Shane Prevost.
Bob had a passion for cars and loved collecting memorabilia to showcase his prized Corvette. He also spent the last years of his life with his rescue cats whom he loved very much.
Although Bob never had children of his own, he left a positive impact on many. He always made time to lend a listening ear and offer words of advice and encouragement.
Bob was also very proud of his Angle heritage and enjoyed sharing stories about his father. Many of his stories often included the importance of hard work, doing the right thing and learning from life’s lessons.
Bob is survived by his mother, Janette Wells, sister, Lori Angle Meininger, half-brother, Rick Wells (Jennifer), and half-sister, Nanette Wells. Along with many nephews including Brian Brink (Julia), Jacob Prevost, Justin Prevost, Brandon Wells, Adam Wells, Tyler Wells, Ben Dore, Luke Dore, great niece, Malayna Brink and great nephew, Mason Brink.
A private memorial service will be held by Bob’s family. He will be missed by all.
