Robert Stewart Bruns III's Obituary
Robert S. Bruns III, 84 of Clearwater died at his home at Bellaire Towers on May 19th. Bob was a graduate of Middlebury College where he met his wife the late Barbara Baker Bruns. He served as a Lieutenant in the Navy in Korea, enjoyed a thirty year career at Perkin Elmer living and working in Wilton CT, and retired to Venice FL where he was an active volunteer with the Rotary Club and Bon Secours Hospital. He is survived by his step mother Alice Ramsey Bruns of Clearwater, his son Robert S. Bruns IV and daughter in law Paula Schiavone Bruns . He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kathryn Bruns Bernard, her husband Scott Bernard, Benjamin Stewart Bruns and Timothy Joseph Bruns, a niece and 2 nephews. Services will be held at Moss Feaster funeral home, 693 S. Belcher Road Clearwater FL. In lieu of flowers, donations should please be made to Venice Nokomis Rotary, PO Box 8, Venice FL 34284.
