Robert C. Chauncey Sr.'s Obituary
Robert C. Chauncey Sr., 86, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on November 30th, 2021. He was born on December 8th, 1934, in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He graduated from Largo Sr. Highschool in 1953. Shortly there after he married the love of his life, Margaret Jeanette Kirkland. Bob went to work at Florida Power Corporation in 1956 and spent most of his years as a Lineman & Line Foreman. The last seventeen years he was the Line Superintendent over the Clearwater Operation Center, retiring in 1994.
He is preceded in death by his wife Jeanette, and his son Robert Jr., as well as his parents, Frank and Dorothy. Bob is survived by his loving daughter Bonnie Chauncey Cline Fleming (Robert), his granddaughter Jacqueline Cline, and many nieces and nephews. Bob had many special friends and loved attending the Largo Cracker Supper and Duke Energy Picnics. He also loved working at his home in Homosassa Springs. You can bet you’d find Bob watching his beloved Florida Gators or Dallas Cowboys on weekends. He had a great love for World War II movies and old westerns with John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, and Audie Murphy. One of his favorite shows was "The Curse of Oak Island". He will be deeply missed but is in God’s loving arms.
A short graveside service will be held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park on Saturday, December 4th at 12:00 PM.
