Robert James Cowart's Obituary
Robert J Cowart, age 75, of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026 after a prolonged illness. Born on March 21, 1951 in Pennsauken New Jersey, Bob was a gruff-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside type of guy, known for his fun-loving nature, humor, and love for family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cynthia (Patterson) Cowart, his brothers Cleve (Cathi) Cowart, Don (Lynn) Cowart and Herb Cowart, his sister Cathy Breiter, and his nieces and nephews. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Bob had a passion for technology, especially cars, and worked for many years in the automotive industry. Bob’s hobbies included his extensive collection of model cars and airplanes, reading, and his pets. He enjoyed travel, good times with friends, and quiet time on the beach.
A memorial service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
