Robert F Jill's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Robert Jill, at the age of 85, on September 10, 2025.
Bob was a man of integrity, kindness and unwavering faith. His commitment to his family, his work and his beliefs were evident in everything he did. As a software engineer and high school teacher, he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic, but his true passion lay in being a constant source of support and love for those around him.
Bob had a deep and abiding faith, which was the cornerstone of his life. Whether through quiet acts of kindness or through moments of wisdom shared with family and friends, his faith shaped every aspect of his being. He was a member of Light of Christ Catholic Church and a Eucharistic Minister for those in his parish and at the nursing home. His belief in God was something that inspired all who knew him. His love for Jesus and St. Padro Pio was a constant in his life.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sharon; his children Jennifer Smith (Ian) and Brian (Kaya); and his three grandchildren, Ben, Josh and Emmy. His absence leaves a void in our hearts, but we take comfort in knowing his legacy of love, faith and dedication will live on in all who knew him.
A funeral Mass will be held at Light of Christ Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 16th at 10:00a.
