Robert M Jones' Obituary
Robert Morrow Jones was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 14, 1928 and passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the age of 93 in Clearwater, Florida. He met and married Janet Carolyn Dickman in 1950. They lived and raised their family on Long Island until retirement when they moved to Nags Head, North Carolina before finally settling in Clearwater, Florida for the past 35 years.
He had a passion for many things, but most of all was his family. He will be sadly missed by his wife Janet Carolyn Jones; children Lynda Carolyn Jones, Kathleen Colbert (Kevin), and Richard Jones (Karyn); grandchildren Christopher Conroy (Jennifer), James Whalen (Carol), Lora Wilmoth, Brian Conroy (Kristie), and Megan Olsen (Michael); and great-grandchildren Liam Wilmoth, Kyler Wilmoth, Aidan Conroy, Makalya Wilmoth, Katelyn Conroy, Mason Conroy, Cienna Whalen and James Robert Whalen.
At the time of his wife, Janet’s passing, their ashes will be spread in Nags Head.
