Robert H. Jones' Obituary
Robert H. Jones, 83, of Clearwater, Florida, passed Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Mease Dunedin Hospital. He was born in Erlanger, Kentucky and moved to Florida in 1977 from Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, Illinois. Robert served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired after 26 years as an administrator with the Air Force. He was an avid sports enthusiast. Robert loved track and field, golf, fishing and bowling. He also loved working on his computer. Robert's happiest times were spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and especially his great-grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Ella; daughter, Lyn (John) Cardenas of Hawaii; son, Jere (Melody) Jones of Dunedin, Fl.and daughter, Michelle (David) Jones of St. Petersburg, Fl. Robert was preceded in death by his grandson, Keone Cardenas. He is survived by six grandchildren, Lia Higashi, Jaclyn Carriera, Keven Jones, Nicole Jones, Jeremy Robison and Brett Woods. Robert is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
