Born 1/13/28 in Clearwater and died 11/13/14. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Marshall Koch and his brother, Dale (and Judy) of Atlanta. Bobby and Kappy were sweethearts from their 7th grade year at Clearwater Junior High school and later enjoyed a very successful 64 year marriage. Bobby graduated from Tulane University and the Southern College of Optometry. He attained the rank of Lt. Cdr. In the U.S. Navy where he served 23 years as a pilot in active and reserve duty. He had a very successful optometric practice in Belleair Bluffs and Largo and was a three term Commissioner of the Town of Belleair. He was proud to have as his friends many of the founders of our community. Bobby was an avid Gator, loved golf and was very proud of his family: children; Louise Levine (Craig) of Hudson; Karl (Tara) of Tampa and Ky (Karen) of Belleair; grandchildren Susan Levine (great grandchildren Anthony, Maddie, Logan and Cayden), Gayle Richardson, Katie Koch, Jack Koch, Courtney Koch, Tanner Koch, and Jake Koch,. The Family thanks Valerie and Melissa for their special caring. In lieu of flowers, hug your loved ones, tell them you love them, and make a contribution to the charity of your choice. A Gathering of Friends will take place at Moss-Feaster Funeral Home, 693 S. Belcher Road, Clearwater on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. www.mossfeasterclearwater.com
