Robert Eugene Legner's Obituary
Robert Eugene Legner, 68, of Palm Harbor, FL passed away peaceably while at home on January 22, 2019. He was born on June 5, 1950 and raised in Perryville, MO.
Robert was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and loved most of his adult life in South Florida. He was an avid sports fan and could answer any sports trivia questions, especially about the Tennessee Vols. He was a wonderful man of integrity who shared his faith and loved his family and friends so much. Robert will be remembered for his life-long commitment to serving the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a loving Husband of 38 years, Father to his 4 children, and Grandpa to his 3 grandchildren.
Robert is preceded in death by multiple grandparents.
Robert leaves behind his wife, Donna (Ring) Legner, his 4 children, Joy (& Christopher) Smoak, Holly (& Eric) Sailer, Grace Legner, and Joshua (& Kelsey) Legner, his parents, Dr. Stanley and Beulah Legner, his brother, David Legner, and his 3 grandchildren, Kaleb Vincent, Callie Smoak, and Ethan Smoak, and many other family & friends who will never forget him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lakeside Community Chapel, 1893 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL 33765.
