Robert D. McDonald's Obituary
Robert D. McDonald was born October 16, 1959, at Bonham, Texas to parents, Robert and Mary McDonald. Robert was the youngest of three brothers. He grew up as a Pastor's kid, accepted the Lord as Savior at an early age. He was very active in the Church, sang in the choir, played the saxophone, and was part of a trio with his brothers. They sang for special occasions at high school assemblies where he attended in Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. He attended high school in Irving, Texas and graduated in Springfield, Missouri. Robert attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Robert served as missionary to Honduras, El Salvador, and Mexico. He met his soulmate, Daphne Ilene Shepard in St. Louis, Missouri.
Robert is survived by his lovely wife, Daphne, his mother, Mary McDonald, St. Louis, MO, his brother, Ron McDonald, St. Louis, MO, brothers-in-law, Charles Shepard, Collins, GA, and Roy Shepard, Proctorville, OH. Those who have gone before are his father, Reverend Robert B. McDonald and brother, Reverend Randy McDonald of Fayetteville, NC.
