When Bob was going to USF, we carpooled together for the better part of two years. All we would talk about was baseball. We played semi-pro baseball for the Dunedin Tams in the early 70's as Bob was the only one that could catch my knuckleball. His love and compassion for the game was unmatched and he hated to lose a game. After some time had passed, we both played softball in Dunedin for Clearwater Mattress and a few other teams in the area. Although we lost touch when I moved to Hawaii, we reconnected on Facebook about six years ago and it was as if we didn't miss a beat. I will miss Bob talking to me about the "good old days" and how we should still be out there playing and showing the young bucks how to correctly play the game.
