Robert J. Smilanich, Sr., passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at Mease Coutryside Hospital, Safety Harbor, FL. Robert was born December 17, 1946 in Chisholm, MN to Robert and Jennie (Kern) Smilanich, who have preceded him in death. He was the owner of Powerhouse Gyms in Kalamazoo and Battle Creek Michigan; enjoyed playing poker, hunting, golf and riding motorcycles.
Bob is survived by 2 sons, Robert and his wife Karyn, Adam Carl; a daughter, Tracy Heighton and her husband, Steve; a brother, Mark; sister, Debbie; 7 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.
