Smith, Robert J.
(Age 73) of Palm Harbor passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 7, 2016 after a long battle with Pancreatic cancer. Preceding him in death are his parents Clement J. and Mary Eva (Jason) Smith. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eileen Ascosi Smith and daughter Jesslyn Ayn, sister Louise Rodey (Ken), sister-in-laws Victoria Satterfield (Cecil), Danielle Ascosi (William), Michele Alvarez (Richard) and many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces along with a host of friends and business relationships. Robert was President of Fitzgerald Auto Mall, Clearwater for the last 20 years, and a passionate tennis player and a champion for the Humane Society of Pinellas. A Memorial Christian Mass will be celebrated at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, 2405 Phillippe Drive, Safety Harbor at 10:30 am on Wednesday September 14, 2016. Immediately following the service, friends are invited to a luncheon at Countryside Country Club, 3001 Countryside Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33761.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org) or Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd.,
