Robert G Welsh's Obituary
WELSH, Robert G. (4-24-1956 to 11-25-2019) Age 63 of Clearwater Florida, former resident of Jacksonville, IL passed suddenly on 11-25-19 at his home in Clearwater FL.
He grew up in Dunedin NewZealand and was a proud Kiwi. He was a Corporal in the Royal NewZealand Air Force and took great pride in his service for his country. He’s known by many as “Bob, Bobby G, Garf, Chippie and Young Fella”. He came to the states and became a respiratory therapist when he found his passion to be a healer and continue further in the medical field. He then sought for further education and completed a bachelors in nursing from Mennonite college in 1995. He found his home at passavant area hospital in Jacksonville IL where he was a critical care nurse in ICU for 22 years.He was a loving husband, an amazing nurse, a proud father and papa, and an incredible man. He loved with his entire heart. He had a passion for life and lived his 2.5 short years of retirement to the fullest . He could make anyone laugh and knew no stranger. He enjoyed being outside and dancing with his wife Zina and listening to the BeeGees and Savage Garden. He also loved to watch the All Blacks play rugby and sing the NewZealand national anthem. He is survived by his loving wife Zina R Welsh of Clearwater Florida, his daughters Brynna K Welsh and her fiancé Jamie Wilson, Rachael R Mead and her husband Bryson Mead, and Lindsay N Chavours and her husband Brad Chavours, his 6 grandchildren- 4 grandsons and 2 grand daughters, His mother in law Nancy Wilder, brother in law Robert Wilder and family, and his siblings Dennis, Clarissa, And Tony of NewZealand and Sally of Australia. He is preceded in death by his mother- Doreen P Mccutcheon and father in law Robert Wilder.
