Rodolfo A Barlaan, 68, of Dunedin, Florida, passed on Friday, September 27, 2013. He was born in the Philippines on May 28, 1945 to Alfredo M Barlaan and Amparo A Barlaan. Rudy was a loving and devoted husband, brother, uncle, and great uncle. He is survived by his loving wife Lea and loving daughter Airika, his sister Lydia B Drew and her husband Dr. Melvyn G Drew, his niece Dr. Myra Carreon and her husband Patrick Carreon and their children (Kaiman and Mikaela), his niece Cynthia Woolfe and her husband Kyle Woolfe, his nephew Melvyn G Drew Jr, his brother Sixto Barlaan and his wife Jacinta Barlaan, his sister Aurora B Bowen and her husband Charles A Bowen, his nephew Michael S Barlaan and his wife Melissa M Barlaan and their children (Seneia and Liana). Rudy was predeceased by his younger brother Peter Barlaan, his father in 1994 and mother in 1996, and great niece (Siena Rose Barlaan) in 2007. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
