Roger F. Kenyon's Obituary
Roger F. Kenyon,91, died at home with the love of his life, Jane, his wife. He came into this world as a Florida Cracker, as he liked to say, born at Morton Plant Hospital in 1931 to Milton and Muriel (Barney) Kenyon who have preceded him in death along with his son, Clifford and brother, Dr. Norman Kenyon. Roger is survived by his wife, Jane of 40 years; daughter, Sheri, who was very close to her dad & very helpful; and son, Brad; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren (soon to be 11)
He was co-captain of Clearwater High School undefeated football team when he graduated in 1949 and went on the University of Florida, graduating in 1953 with a BS/BA degree.
Roger loved to snow ski and fish; was a member of Kiwanis of Clearwater and Clearwater Masonic Lodge #127 & on the National Advisory Conference for Chrysler. He bought Kenyon Dodge from his dad in 1955 and moved it to US 19 in 1964. It was sold in 1999. He and Jane traveled extensively around the world during their marriage.
