I met Roger when I was a young draftsman at Rich & Associates in Southfield, Michigan in 1979, and we became good friends. Bill Paxton was our structural engineer across the hall, and the three of us became close. Roger was like an older brother, and Bill was like a second Dad to me. Roger moved to Florida before me, when Bill moved me down to Florida in ‘81. Roger and Carolyn helped me find an apartment close to them, and we all became good friends. I will miss Roger terribly... a quality individual, I think.
Roger was a long tome friend and fellow architect. I knew him from many years back in Detroit. When I moved to Florida, I sent word to him that business was great here in Tampa and we could use him here. He lived with Bill Paxton in Tampa for a while and decided to move here permanently.
