Ronald James Kiley's Obituary
Ronald James Kiley, 83, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on September 9th, 2022, in Dunedin. He was born on March 12th, 1939, in Rochester, NY to the late Lawrence & Stella (Maloney) Kiley. He was a veteran of the U.S Navy, serving from 1956-1958. Ron began his career as a photographer for the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, which included photographing the tragic events of the Rochester riots in 1964. Later on, he worked in the printing industry including the company Case Hoyt. His last professional position was CEO of Victor Specialties. In his free time, he enjoyed photography, golfing, boating, and fishing. He also enjoyed a glass of wine, a good meal, and spending time with family and many friends. In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his sister Noreen Collins and son Jeff Farrington.
He is survived by his loving wife, Adrienne Kiley, son Todd Kiley and his wife Julie, daughter Kathleen King and her husband Bill, daughter Tammy Smith and her husband Brian, daughter Laurie Farrington, and daughter in law Cathy Farrington. He also leaves behind grandchildren Derek (Brandi) Herman, Ryan (Kiersten) Herman, Mason Smith, Amanda Farrington, Alyssa Farrington, Maxwell Farrington, and great grandchildren Kyleigh, Paisley, and Ripley. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you consider donations to hospice or Lollypop Farm in Rochester, NY. Services will be held at a later date.
